Some observations:

André Cacito is very likely to get more opportunities at Forward-Centre, he's clearly physically stronger, bigger and more impetuous than Ricardo Nogueira. Bruno Matias looks awkward at Nº9, he's more of a "Left-Forward" than an outright striker or winger.

Vasco Campos is the contention Full-Back and Rui Figueiredo is the Attacking Full-Back. Interesting player Rui, recently turned 17 and he's got a lot of pace, he goes forward quite well. Rui has to improve his ball reception (too much bounce) and when he crosses the ball backwards to his keeper he has to be more carefull otherwise he'll be making assists for the opposite team.

When there's a deadball situation only 2 players stay in the midfield line to stop a potential counter, it was always Rui Figueiredo and Vasco Campos and eventually Rui and Tiago Pinto.

Had Carriço not scored then my MOM would have been João Martins without a doubt, he's clearly better than last year and he does everything, attacks, defends, tackles, passes, lateralizes the game, closes out the left and right flank and seems to have endless energy. This kid could play a few minutes here and there for the 1st Team and not look out of place at all.

Alison's aerobic endurance is questionable.

Fábio Paim was by far the player that received the most fouls. I thought he played well, he does not hold on to the ball anywhere near as much as he did before.

Paim and Alison switched flanks often and João Gonçalves and André Pires also switched positions during the game.
